I suppose it's possible that you stumbled on this site by accident (as opposed to an invite or referral).   If that's so,  here goes the best I can explain.

All of the pictures here were done using various 3D and 2D graphics programs.   My favorite 3D programs for now are Poser and Daz|Studio.    For 2D,  GIMP is my choice.   These choices are greatly influenced by cost.  GIMP and D|S are free,  Poser is in the under $200 price range.

A lot of people think that computer facilitated art is not real art.   Like there's no button in any of these programs labeled "MAKE ART".    The program is a tool,  just like brushes and such for painters.   Saying something is not real art because a computer was used is like saying DaVinci didn't really paint the Mona Lisa - he used a brush!

This is not complete yet, but I wanted to have something in this space. It should grow as time goes on
